Artist's Statement: 
 

"It is my endless effort and drive to be able to not only reflect

the outer images of Nature but also bring the sounds, the

scents and the essence of its inner beauty to the canvas in detail" 

Biography: 

Kyung Ja Kim was born in Seoul, Korea.  She started painting since 1970 which was simply a hobby of hers.  The fine art of painting became her life passion when she decided to move out of the business world in 1996 to pursue her dream of becoming an artist.

She extended her knowledges of art by consistently studying while she was in several European countries such as France, England and Italy.

In 2002, she moved to the United States.   She attended Fullerton College in fine arts and studied with many oil painting masters.
